Monsterpoclaypse

So, some of us have started a trading circle for the game, and now wouldn't it be cool if our newest Press Ganger would look into sponsoring events so we can get the one-of-a-kind figures? Wouldn't that just be totally awesome?

Oh, and trading circle:

Roy = Planet Eaters
Randy = Terrasaurs
Dave = G.U.A.R.D.

And I believe Patrick² is Cthul? Correct me if I'm wrong. Still, Martians and Shadowsun are still up for our particular circle.

Ohh...no one wants to play the Kaiju ninjas...Ultra Man and Kikider were awesome shows when I was a kid.

Yes I do play the demons with tenticales and I could also get some events going as well if needed once we have enough players.

Well, I do have the new Metamorph monster for Cthul. Metamorphs are monsters that start out as four small units, but can form together in the game to become the uber-monster. The Cthul one is for large tentacles that can burrow underneath buildings and attack from two squares away. It's adorable!

I'll hold onto it until I can get Ultra-Vorgax, the Metamorph for the Planet Eaters. Then I can't wait until September-October when the giant insect faction comes out.

Oh, I also have a building unique for the Terrasaurs: Mt. Saur. Negates flying within two squares of it. Also spawns little saurs.

I suppose I should post a slight addendum. I'm no longer a Planet-Eaters player. I traded with P² for his Cthul stuff. I mean, I felt I was being way too cheesy with Gorgahdra!

If we can get a few more players to have regular tournaments, there would be monster prizes for everyone. If there are 8 or more players in each tournament, everyone gets at least one prize, a free shadow-figure for one of the factions.

All we would need is a tournament organizer that would run weekly tournaments. It doesn't need to be a press ganger. In fact, I think a Monsterpocalypse tourney runner can't be a Press Ganger. I dunno. I'd have to look at the rules. Since I don't make weekly stops, it couldn't be me.

We should find more people to interest!
